Description (Service) The Public Health Agency of Canada and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that the Zika virus disease is primarily spread though the bite of an infected mosquito but that it can also be spread by sexual transmission through semen from infected men, an infected, pregnant woman to her developing baby and cell, blood and tissue donations from infected donors
