Description (Service)

Provides Christmas assistance including food voucher for low income families and toys for children under 12 years and younger

Donations are needed and welcomed - to see what donations are most needed at this time, call Community and Family Services.

  • Food, toys and money can be dropped off Mon, Tue and Fri, 9 am-12 noon and 1 pm-3 pm. Donations by cheque are to be made payable to The Salvation Army Port Elgin Food Bank.
  • Donations of food and toys can also be dropped off in drop boxes located at the Walmart, Giant Tiger and at the Foodland in Southampton.
  • Other toy drop off boxes are located throughout the community.

Will be at the Port Elgin Santa Claus parade on Nov 29 to collect donations.

Volunteers will be needed - call The Salvation Army for more information on volunteering for the Christmas Kettle Drive.
