Description
Description (Service) | Provides a 24-hour crisis line and emergency shelter. The shelter houses up to four families (9 beds, 2 cribs) and provides food, clothing and practical needs to support with safety and healing. Staff assist in-house clients with finding housing, social assistance, medical and legal help. Shelter works with other community agencies who provide counselling and interpretation services. Length of stay depends on situation, average stay is six to eight weeks. |
