Description
Description (Service) | Provides support and social gatherings to veterans and their families and to the community. Annual Poppy campaign is held the last Friday in October to November 11. Activities include tag days, a parade to the cenotaph on Remembrance Day, November 11, followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion. Proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist ex-veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes. Loan cupboard available for anyone in the community to borrow medical equipment for temporary use. Devices include walkers and canes. Accepts donations. Also offers:

Hours | Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon Clubhouse: Mon-Fri 12 noon-10 pm, Sat 12 noon-6 pm, open longer for scheduled events Bingo: Thu doors open at 6 pm, play starts at 7 pm |
