Description (Service)

Provides a place where parents and caregivers can:

  • participate with their children in a wide range of indoor and outdoor programs and activities
  • receive answers to questions about child development
  • receive information about programs and services that are available for young children
  • feel a sense of belonging while engaging in a community of early years professionals, parents and caregivers
  • stay connected on Facebook

Range of free services include:

  • early learning and literacy programs/activities for parents and their children
  • programs that support parents and caregivers of young children in all aspects of early child development
  • information, support, resources and education for parents and caregivers
  • Indigenous Cultural Teachings in partnership with M'Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre offered Monday mornings.

Bruce County EarlyON Educators are available to answer development questions or concerns and support with activity ideas. Call or send a private message on Facebook.

EarlyON Wiarton provides mobile service to Lion's Head, Tobermory, and Wiarton Community Centre:

  • EarlyON Lion's Head: Registration required. 4 Tackabury Street, Lion's Head Community Centre
  • EarlyON Tobermory: Registration required. 22 Bay Street South, Bruce County Library Tobermory Branch
  • EarlyON Wiarton Mobile Service for Active Explorers: 526 Taylor Street, upstairs in community hall. Access by stairs or elevator.

Areas Served Chippewas of Nawash First Nation ; Northern Bruce Peninsula ; South Bruce Peninsula
Eligibility Unless otherwise specified in the schedule program descriptions, all programs are for newborn to age six.
Application A short electronic registration form is completed at first visit.
Languages Weekly Indigenous Cultural Teachings in partnership with M'Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre. This program is on pause as the Indigenous Facilitator role vacancy is filled.
