Description (Service) COVID-19 Response 
In-person is suspended at the Flesherton branch, but Curbside Pickup service is still available. In-person programming has been suspended until further notice, but virtual programming is available, check website.  
 
The Grey Highlands Public Library is observing COVID-19 Health and Safety procedures. Loan material are quarantined and sanitized before being loaned out. 
 
Regular Service 
Provides comprehensive library and information services to residents and visitors of Grey Highlands and contracting municipalities. 
 
Services include:  
  • Online resources including eBooks, Audio Books, movies, magazines and other reference materials 
  • reference and readers' advisory service  
  • programs for children and adults  
  • public access computer stations and free high-speed internet / wifi  
  • printing, copying and scanning  
  • fiction and non-fiction collections: Babies to Adults (books, audiobooks, ebooks, magazines and movies)  
  • collections and equipment for people with disabilities (large print, talking books, touch screen computer with large print keyboard, Merlin LCC (video magnifier system), AODA-trained staff)  
  • home delivery for residents unable to travel to library branches  
  • interlibrary loans (to request material from other libraries in Ontario)  
  • local history and genealogical collections, print and digital  
  • meeting room rentals available 
  • exam proctoring

Tue, Thu 1 pm-5 pm, Sat 9 am-1 pm - Hours subject to change, call or check website to confirm 
 
Regular Hours: 
Tue 10 am-8:30 pm, Wed 1 pm-5 pm, Thu 1 pm-5 pm & 6:30 pm-8:30 pm, Fri 1 pm-5 pm, Sat 9 am-2 pm 
 
Summer: Tue 10 am-8:30 pm, Wed 10 am-5 pm, Thu 10 am-5 pm & 6:30 pm-8:30 pm, Fri 10 am-5 pm, Sat 9 am-2 pm

Eligibility Individuals who live, work, or attend school within the municipality of Grey Highlands are eligible for a free library membership at any of Grey Highlands Public Library branches (Flesherton, Markdale and Kimberley). Southgate residents are also eligible for a free library membership. Non-resident and visitor memberships are also available (please visit the library for further details and fee structure). 
 
Members of the Meaford Public Library and the Blue Mountains Public Library are eligible for a Grey Highlands Public Library membership by reciprocal agreement, and vice-versa.
