Description (Service) Maintains and improves Beautiful Joe Park and continues to work towards establishing this as an international tourist attraction and heritage site that promotes the ethics and values of the Beautiful Joe story written by Margaret Marshall Saunders. Encourages and educates about Joe's message of being kind and how his story impacted the way animals are treated today and how they help us in our daily lives

  • Beautiful Joe Park tours
  • Paradise Island, a serene place in Beautiful Joe Park where pets can be remembered with a memorial plaque. A second kiosk will be completed in 2019
  • Annual events such as Beautiful Joe's Old Fashioned Family Fun Day and the Pooch Pool Party
  • Working towards a pedestrian bridge across the Bighead River to accommodate tour buses and those with mobility issues access to this unique park
