Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due to the evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Breaking Down Barriers office will be closed until further notice 
Staff are working from home and monitoring phone and email messages * Call 705-445-1543 ext *301 or by email at  
Regular Service: 
Peer support provides a supportive peer environment, where an individual can gain skills and the self confidence needed to overcome barriers. Groups such as the Diabetes Information Group (monthly). Friendship CafĂ©, crafts, pole walking, games night, golf in the summer, curling in the winter and much more( meet weekly). 
Also offers one on one support, assistance with self-advocacy, information and referral and assistance filling out Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) forms
